Christian Rivard began Adult Help & Companion Care in 1997. The motivation
to begin the company was a result from his family's struggle to find
exceptional and honest home care for his grandparents. After several
attempts with homecare agencies, as well as an attempt at placing their
loved one in an 'assisted care facility', they found that there was no
viable option but to ask a family member to volunteer to take care of their
grandparents; to be their 'Primary Care Giver'. Christian was more than
willing, and it was at that point that he became more aware of families that
were also in need of homecare services.
Christian's compassion for his grandparents, as well as others in need,
inspired the creation of, Adult Help & Companion Care, 'AHCC', is a
homecare service which caters to adults in need... whom are incapable of living
on their own. His primary focus is to provide an honest, reliable, and
loving environment for adults within their own boundaries. He has created a
warm environment by customizing a secure caregiver for each client; People
whom they trust through their time of need.
AHCC is an alternative solution to institutionalized living arrangements.
Christian's philosophy of in-home care offers a more humanistic approach to
preserving individual's wishes and freedoms.
